WT-Re-Allocator
If there are patients who press 2 when a reminder call is made to them, saying they won't come, and if the practice wants to fill in the cancelled appointment, the receptionist can invoke the Welltime -Re-Allocator application. It looks into a database of patients who live or work in the vicinity and who have indicated that given, say, a 2 hours notice, they will be willing to take a short notice appointment.
WT-Re-Allocator calls these patients one by one, saying "Hello, there is a short notice appointment available in your local Dentist’s practice, tomorrow at 10:30a.m. Please press 1 in the next 1 minute to take this appointment. If you do not take this offer, your original appointment will remain unchanged and this appointment will be offered to someone else". This process continues and fills the empty slots with patients.
